A lot of red foods are powerful antioxidant, they taste good, provides health and great for skin!
I picked a few below and give you a brief summary of how wonderful these red foods are:

1. Red rice

Red rice has rich protein, can help quickly make up body consumption and keep body temperature. High in iron, so if you have iron deficiency, red rice will be your best friend (red beans has the similar benefit).  It can also assist in insomnia, malnutrition, etc.

2. Red Wine

Red wine has resveratrol – a chemical compound found in certain plants, such as grapes,  is believed full of antioxidants and have anti aging properties. It can also help the body burn fat (but remember, only drinking red wine can’t reduce weight, you need to exercise too). Drinking red wine in moderation can also improve heart health and circulation, help prevent cancer, heart disease and have a positive effect on cholesterol levels and blood pressure. Of course, it also give our face a bit lovely rosy glow. 🙂

3. Tomato

Tomatoes are a good source of lycopene, which is strongly connected with prostate cancer protection.  They are also a good source of potassium and vitamin C, great for heart health and digestion. They taste great too, don’t they?

4. Salmon

We heard a lot that the Omega-3 fatty acids in salmon can help prevent heart disease and stroke by lowering the body’s rate of blood clotting. They also help skin to lock moisture, prevent wrinkles’ development. Omega-3 fatty acids have also been shown to reduce menstrual cramps, prevent depression and help protect against Alzheimer’s disease.  Magic eh?

5. Red Pepper

Peppers are rich in Vitamin B and C, icon, calcium. Red pepper is a outstanding source of vitamin A, which helps the condition of skin, bones, and teeth.  They have as much Vitamin C as orange. There is one special ingredient in red  peppers can burn the fat, it also boost the release of  hormone , which is great for skin.

So here you go.  There are many other red foods that you can find around you — cherries, beetroots, cranberry, etc.
